The incident took around 7 p.m. Tuesday on Woodend Road in Stratford when the teen was hit by a bullet in what appears to be a drive-by shooting, said Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti.
The lone shooting victim was shot by someone in what appears to be a silver car, possibly a Honda, with a distinctive black front bumper, Eannotti said.
The shooter and vehicle fled south on Woodend Road after the incident, he added.
The boy was transported to Bridgeport Hospital and is in good condition, Eannotti said.
